Escape Adventure Theme Park

Situated approximately 28 kilometres away from Lexis Suites Penang, the Escape Park Penang or also known as the Escape Theme Park Penang, the Penang Adventure Park or the Escape Adventureplay Penang by locals and tourists, is a family theme park with exciting and challenging activities. The Escape Park Penang was founded by Mr Sim Choo Kheng, Chief Executive of Sim Leisure. Recalling the exciting and wonderful feeling of playing outdoors with his friends surrounded by nature, Sim, who was brought up in a kampong, designed and built Escape Park Penang with the goal of integrating childhood activities into the theme park and at the same time, encouraging physical wellness and appreciation of nature through the activities provided in the theme park.

What to do:

*The latest addition to the endless fun at the park is the Guinness World Record’s longest inner tube water slide! The 1,111 meters-long water slide is 3 times longer than the previous record holder in Germany (356 meters) was added during the phase 3 of the theme park’s development which focused on gravity-play rides, including water slide, ski lift, hill rider and tubby race. The total investment for phase 3 is RM12mil, and the water slide alone cost RM5mil to build. The highest point of the water slide is on a nearby mountain top at 70 meters above ground.

At the Escape Park Penang, there’s a whole range of activities that cater to all age groups, such as Aerobat, Speed Racer, Kite Flyer, Gecko Tower, Airbag, Lazy River and many more! The Escape Penang Park also offers teambuilding packages for companies and school trip packages for schools.

One of the most exciting attractions apart from the theme park itself is the Base Camp, where visitors can go back to nature, camp under the stars and do their own BBQ cooking. The Base Camp is located in a fenced area within the Escape Park Penang with 24-hour security surveillance.
