Year of the Roaring Tiger
According to the Chinese’s Lunar calendar, 2022 is the year of the tiger. In comparison to 2021, which was the year of the ox, the Chinese community believes that the year of the active and motivated tiger will bring more positive changes and growth than the year of the slow, soft and passive ox.
The celebration of the arrival of the year of the tiger 2022 is made extra meaningful, as with vaccination effort in many corners of the world, the citizens of the world are beginning to gain back their momentum and vitality. Hopes are high and more are at stake for the coming 12 months as we try harder to achieve our goals that had to be put on hold during the Covid-19 pandemic.
All over Malaysia, people of all races are evidently excited and enthusiastic to welcome and celebrate the Lunar New Year. Almost everywhere we go we can hear Chinese New Year songs in various languages being played in the background, malls and other public places are also adorned with festive-themed decorations. It is our sincerest hope that the year of the tiger has only better things in store for everyone. Gong Xi Fa Chai!
